Fond du Lac Community Theatre presented Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical

Carousel

on two consecutive weekends, February  8 - 12 and 16 - 18, 1978 at the Goodrich High School Little Theatre.

Based on Ferenc Molnar's "Liliom," as adapted by Benjamin F. Glaser.  The story has been filmed three times:  "Liliom" was made into two feature film versions, and "Carousel" was made into one.

"Carousel" was presented through a special arrangement with the Rodgers & Hammerstein Library, New York, New York.

    History:   "Liliom" was made into a motion picture twice, in 1930 and in 1934.  "Carousel" was made into a major motion picture in 1956, starring Gordon MacRae as "Billy Bigelow" and Shirley Jones.
