Our 2007-2008 Season is now underway.

This is FdLCT's Fiftieth year, Our Golden Anniversary Season:

 

50 Years of Opening Nights

 

 

Finished -- Fall - “The Fantasticks”

 

"The Fantasticks," the first show of our Golden Anniversary Season, was directed by Alan Wallisch..

 

Finished -- Winter - “A Christmas Carol”

 

The second show in our Fiftieth Season was our Christmas greeting to Fond du Lac!  "A Christmas Carol," written by Charles Dickens, was directed by Therese Burazin.

 

Just Finished -- Spring - "Golden Musical Memories"

 

The third show of our Golden Anniversary Season was directed by Jan Stoegbauer with six performances on two consecutive weekends - five evening shows plus one matinee.

 

Coming up next -- Summer - "Cinderella"

 

History - The classic fairy tale is magically transformed by Rodgers & Hammerstein into a joyous musical.  The timeless tale of "Cinderella" warms hearts of all ages.

Story - Treated like a slave by her stepmother and stepsisters, "Cinderella" seeks refuge "In Her Own Little Corner" as she daydreams of a better life.  Meanwhile, the King and Queen prepare for a formal ball for their son, the Prince.  Cinderella's Fairy Godmother magically provides Cinderella with a beautiful gown and a fancy carriage to attend the ball.  The Prince and Cinderella fall in love.  As midnight approaches, Cinderella flees, leaving one of her glass slippers behind.  The Prince begins his search the next day.  Will they be reunited, and live happily ever after?

"Cinderella," the fourth and final show of our 50th Season, will be directed by Mary Runde and Maggie Patton with four performances on one weekend - three evening shows plus one matinee.

Our final show of our 2007-2008 season will be "The Mother Goose Network"

 

History:  Our Once Upon a Time Players presented our first Mother Goose play, "Mother Goose on the Loose," in 2006.

We will present this season's Children's play, the second Mother Goose story, on two days: Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26, 2008.

 

Tickets

 

Individual tickets will be on sale at Wegner's Office Department Store, on the corner of Court and Macy Street in Fond du Lac, starting at approximately four weeks before each show.  They are also on sale at the box office on each performance afternoon or night, approximately one hour before curtain time.

The price for an individual ticket for our new season is $14.00.  Tickets for children,  age 12 and under, cost only $10 each.

Group Tickets - Discounts are available for groups of ten or more.  Please call FdLCT at # (920) 923-2206 and leave a message.

 

Season Tickets

 

Season ticket sales for our current season, 2007-2008, has ended.  Season Ticket sales for our next season, 2008-2009, will probably begin in June, 2008.

 

Gift Certificates

     Give the gift of Theatre.  Our FdLCT Gift Certificates are actual printed certificates, sold for $14.00 each (the price of a ticket) or increments thereof ($14.00, $28.00, $42.00, etc.)  They are available at Wegner's Office Department Store whenever our tickets are on sale (approximately one month before each show).

     They are redeemable by trading for an admission ticket to any one of our regular season shows.  Gift certificates can be redeemed at either Wegner's Office Department Store or at the box office, which opens one hour before each performance.  Even many hard-to-buy-for people will probably love to receive show tickets for any occasion!
