Fond du Lac Community Theatre and the University of Wisconsin - Fond du Lac Theatre presented Godspell a musical based on the Gospel according to Saint Matthew, with five performances: three evening shows, on April 24, 25, and 26, 1997 at 8:00 P. M. plus two afternoon shows (matinees), on April 26 and 27, 1997 at 2:00 P. M. at the Goodrich High School Little Theater. Conceived and Originally Directed by John-Michael Tebelak. Music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Originally produced on the New York Stage by Edgar Lansbury / Stuart Duncan / Joseph Beruh.
"Godspell" was presented through special arrangement with Theatre Maximus, New York, New York. History: Fond du Lac Community Theatre had already presented "Godspell" once before, in 1980. Film: Columbia Pictures made "Godspell" into a major motion picture in 1973. It starred Victor Garber as "Jesus," and David Haskell as "John" and "Judas." Return to FdLCT Productions Return to top
