Become an official member of

Fond du Lac Community Theatre

Anyone with an interest in Theater is welcome and encouraged to join Fond du Lac Community Theatre. Currently, our membership dues are only one dollar ($1.00) per year.

There is no obligation to actually do anything when you join. We find that most people join in order to express their creativity by helping to actually create live theater, although there are some who join just to be supportive and to keep up-to-date on our activities.

Membership Benefits

1) Participation. All of our official members are eligible to participate in any of the following ways:

	Work on any of our productions. All members may volunteer to work on any show. In fact, if you are actively participating in any production, you are required to join Fond du Lac Community Theatre, for insurance purposes, which is one reason why we keep our dues so low.
	Attend our Annual Meeting. All members are encouraged to attend our yearly General Membership Meeting. It is held each summer (in July) at our Fond du Lac Community Theatre building at 250 West Ninth Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
	Become a Committee member, or even a Committee Chairperson. Any member may volunteer to join any committee, and often can eventually become the chairperson for that committee, if they wish to.
	Become a Board of Directors member. All members are eligible to run. The procedure is as follows: First, you must be nominated by a current Board of Directors member. Second, the Board of Directors votes on the nominated members, and one or more members are elected to the Board by our General Membership at our Annual Meeting.
	Become an Officer. To become an Officer, the procedure is approximately the same. All Board members are eligible to run. Board members may be nominated, and then may be elected by our General Membership at our Annual Meeting.

2) Newsletter. All members receive a copy of our newsletter, "The Backstage Voice," which is mailed out whenever one is put together, usually via email. Most of our information is now being disseminated through this website and mass emailing, so our newsletters are much less frequent than they have been in the past. Often it is just a post card, to alert members to an up-coming meeting or event.

How To Join

To become an official member, simply make out your check out to Fond du Lac Community Theatre in the amount of $1.00. Mail your check, with a note telling us that you wish to join, to:
