Reminisce by Matthew Rodenkirch
"We did Chekhov for the Heritage Fest, and I got to fake, well the character was having a heart attack, so I had to fake a heart attack, and that was fun. Fortunately we didn’t try to do accents, ‘cause I think trying to do Russian accents would have been too hard. And
we did two plays; I remember we did ‘The Bear’ and we did ‘The Proposal.’
And I was in the ‘The Proposal’ and Nate Wessel was in ‘The Bear.’ And I remember how happy I was that he got the role in ‘The Bear,’ because the character he was playing had a page-and-a-half speech, and my longest speech in ‘The Proposal’ was only about half a page, maybe a little more, and just a bugger even at that. I don’t think I ever would have gotten through the page-and-half that Nathan had to deal with.
