"Steel Magnolias" was produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Incorporated, 440 Park Avenue South, New York, New York 10016.

History:  Originally produced by the W. P. A. Theatre in New York City.  

Film:  Tri Star Pictures made "Steel Magnolias" into a major motion picture in 1989.  It starred Julia Roberts, Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Olympia Dukakis, Daryl Hannah and Tom Skerritt.
