Fond du Lac Community Theatre presented the mystery comedy "Teen Mystery Theatre" "Teen Mystery Theatre" was a six-week-long course on Theatre, conceived and taught by Therese Burazin. Therese is an accomplished playwright and company director of the Milwaukee Youth Theatre, with over 25 years of experience. She was assisted by Heather Reader. It was the first class conducted in the Fond du Lac Community Theatre Building (the former Ninth Street Fire Station). The class was open to students, ages 13 through 18. The course ran for six weeks, meeting on Tuesday nights, and eventually Thursday nights also, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.. The course taught the students about theatre by taking them through a unique, hands-on, six-step process:
The class culminated with the show that the students themselves developed and wrote during the course. It was staged with one performance only on Thursday, February 13, 2003 at 5:30 P.M. at our FdLCT Building. Admission was a $3.00 donation.
