Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every summer to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids, and jobs they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. The weekends span a period of thirty-three years. The Dixie Swim Club is a hilarious and touching comedy about friend-ships that last forever. Directed by Therese Burazin.


October 30–November 2 at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts

In this cult classic, sweethearts Brad and Janet, stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter and a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker and a creepy butler. With elaborate dances and rock songs, this rock-n-roll, sci-fi, gothic, and deliberately kitschy musical is a hoot. Directed by Bekki Kuber.

The storytelling magic of ABBA’s timeless songs tells the story of love, laughter, and friendship. This musical which takes place on a Greek Island paradise tells the story of a young woman’s search for her birth father. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter’s quest to discover the identify of her father brings home three men from her mother’s past. Directed by Maggie Patton and Mary Runde.

Come see the senior class of 1959 at Rydell High—the duck-tailed, hot-rodding Burger Palace Boys and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking Pink Ladies in bobby sox and pedal pushers. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and good girl Sandy try to relive the high romance of their “Summer Nights” as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through great songs like Greased Lightnin’, It’s Raining on Prom Night, and more. Directed by Nancy Irizarry-Beachy.
