Join FDLCT for the Encore Workshop Acing the Audition on April 11. Open to 3rd through 8th graders, this hands on session helps students build confidence, practice audition skills, and learn how to stand out.
Calling all 3rd through 8th graders. If you want to walk into your next audition with confidence, this workshop is for you.
Join Fond du Lac Community Theatre for our next Encore Workshop, Acing the Audition. This high energy session is designed to help young performers build skills, gain confidence, and understand what directors are really looking for in an audition.
Students will have the opportunity to practice introducing themselves, reading lines, and performing a short audition piece with helpful feedback. Participants will also learn what redirection means and how to use it to improve their performance. In addition, students will perform a short section of a song and learn how to make every moment count.
This is a great opportunity for both new and experienced performers to grow their skills in a fun and supportive environment.
