FDLCT Memorial Scholarship

Fond du Lac Community Theatre congratulates Adrianna Dallen as its 2025 Scholarship Award recipient. The FDLCT Memorial Scholarship was established in honor of the dedicated men and women who shared their time and talents in FDLCT productions and within the organization. This scholarship also acknowledges and supports youth involved in our theatrical productions.

Adrianna currently attends STEM Academy and will be attending UW-Stevens Point this fall where she will continue to be involved in theatre and the arts. Her past FDLCT productions were Matilda, Frozen Jr, Footloose, SpongeBob the Musical, Newsies Jr, Grease, and Grumpy Old Men and currently she is in the ensemble for Legally Blonde. The Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 will be awarded to Adrianna at the FDLCT annual meeting in July.

Congratulations to the 2024 FDLCT scholarship recipient Isabel Pieper! Isabel is headed to Carroll University, where she will major in Musical Theater. Best of luck to you, Isabel!

Nora has been involved with Community Theatre for eleven years participating in productions both on stage and behind the scenes. You may recognize her from Mamma Mia, Matilda, Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek the Musical, Wizard of Oz, Next to Normal, and Seussical the Musical. She was also very involved in our Encore Youth Productions including Elf Jr, Bugsy Malone, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Peter Pan Jr, and Aladdin Jr. Nora attended Fond du Lac High School where she participated in Cardinal Community Mentors, Cardinal Singers, VJaM Singers, Stagecraft, and the Fond du Lac High School Theatre Program. Nora looks forward to following her passion of singing and acting in the future. She also hopes to grow her skills as a composer and songwriter by learning more about theatre and music. Nora plans to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.

Fond du Lac Community Theatre is thankful for Nora's time and dedication to the organization. We have loved getting to watch Nora learn and grow through the years. Those who have had the pleasure to share the stage with her enjoy her talent, smile, positive attitude, loving heart, and sweet spirit. We wish Nora the best of luck in her future, and can't wait to watch her journey!

Fond du Lac Community Theatre is pleased to announce that the 2020 Memorial Scholarship winner is Katherine Behlke.

Katherine attended Fond du Lac High School. She was active in the music and theatre program participating in Marching Band, Color Guard, Jazz Band, and the school plays and musicals. She also was a member of the National Honor Society and the Sexuality and Gender Equality Club.

Katherine has been involved with Fond du Lac Community Theatre for approximately nine years. She has worked behind the scenes on stage crews for Harvey, Beauty and the Beast, and Give My Regards to Broadway - and acted on stage in supporting roles and as part of the ensemble of shows including I Remember Mama, The Prisoner of Zenda, Peter Pan, and Sweeney Todd.

Katherine plans to attend UW-Milwaukee for a Mechanical Engineering major and Physics minor, and at some point plans to get her Masters in Mechnical Engineering. She hopes to someday work for Disney as an Imagineer designing rides, animatronics, and theming in the parks. And she hopes to find a local community theatre to be involved in wherever she goes.

Katherine is the daughter of Ron & Rhea Behlke of Fond du Lac. As the recipient of this year’s Memorial Scholarship, Katherine will receive the award at the Fond du Lac Community Theatre’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, July 21 at 6:30pm at the Community Theatre building located at 250 W. Ninth Street. This meeting is open to all those interested in learning more about the organization. Katherine will receive a $500 scholarship and will have her name engraved on the FDLCT Memorial Scholarship plaque which is proudly displayed at the FDLCT building.

Parker Hambrick, son of Chad and Stacy Hambrick, and recent Fond du Lac High School graduate is the 2019 FDLCT Memorial Scholarship winner.

Parker is a senior at Fond du Lac High School. His theater experience and involvement goes back to 2013, and includes roles such as “Winkie” in Wizard of Oz, A Farquard Guard in Shrek, and a supporting role in Man of La Mancha. Parker has also assisted and participated in the Rienzi Walk, FDLCT Appreciation Night, has been on stage crew and has had assisting roles in Aladdin Jr, Steel Magnolias, Peter Pan Jr, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Beauty and the Beast.

As part of his Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout Community Project, Parker helped plan and build two dressing rooms at the Fond du Lac Community Theatre building. Parker plans to attend BYU in Rexburg Idaho following a 2-year mission trip and will then pursue his college education while staying involved in theater at the university. Congratulations Parker!

Olivia is a recent graduate from Fond du Lac High School. Her past theater and high school performances have included many different roles over the past four years, with some of her most notable with FDLCT being “Teen Fiona” in Shrek the Musical, and “Antonia” in Man of La Mancha.

Olivia plans to attend UW-Milwaukee this fall, where she will pursue a BFA in Acting, while also pursuing her Marketing degree. Her dream is to manage her own theater company one day while performing as well.

We are pleased to announce that GRANT PETIK, is the recipient of the FDL Community Theatre Memorial Scholarship granted by the organization for the 2016-2017 Season. This scholarship was established to honor the dedicated men and women who always played a prominent role in production and continually supported FDLCT.

As recipient of the Memorial Scholarship, Grant will receive his award at the Annual Meeting on July 18th at 6:30pm at the Community Theatre building located at 250 W. Ninth Street. Grant will receive a monetary award and will have his name engraved on the Memorial Scholarship plaque which is displayed proudly at the FDL Community Theatre building.

Fond du Lac Community Theatre is pleased to announce that the recipient of the Memorial Scholarship granted by the organization for the 2015-2016 Season is Gavin Hambrick. Gavin is the son of Stacey and Chad Hambrick of Fond du Lac. Gavin has been involved in the organization for six years by performing in musicals and helping with numerous Community Theatre activities.

Gavin plans to attend Brigham Young University. Prior to that he plans to do missionary work for two years for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Gavin's Fond du Lac Community Theatre work includes performing in Shrek the Musical, Wizard of Oz, Secrets Every Smart Traveler Should Know, Seussical the Musical and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. When not on the stage as an actor, he helped with concessions, ushered, painted and cleaned at the Community Theatre Building, and also participated in the Rienzi Historical Walks.

Fond du Lac Community Theatre is pleased to announce that MITCHELL RILEY is the recipient of the FDLCT Memorial Scholarship granted by the organization for the 2013-2014 Season. The FDLCT Memorial Scholarship was established to honor dedicated men and women who always played a prominent role in production and continually supported the organization. Mitchell has been involved in the organization for many years by performing in musicals and children's productions.

Mitchell is a graduate from Fond du Lac High School. He plans to attend Luther College in Decorah, Iowa this Fall and is considering a career in Health Science or Computer Science. He has performed on stage in musical productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Fiddler on the Roof, and The Music Man. During his younger years, he was in Mother Goose is on the Loose and A Christmas Story. Mitchell is the son of Marcia and Tim Riley of FDL.

Mitchell received his award formally last night (presented by our Scholarship Coordinator, Therese Burazin) at our Annual General Membership Meeting.

Fond du Lac Community Theatre is pleased to announce that Hannah Holzmann is the recipient of the Memorial Scholarship granted by the organization for the 2012-2013 Season. The FDLCT Memorial Scholarship was established to honor dedicated men and women who always played a prominent role in production and continually supported the organization. Hannah has been involved in the organization by both performing and working on technical aspects of productions such as sets and costumes.

Hannah will be graduating from Saint Mary’s Springs. She plans to attend the University of Chicago and pursue a degree in Physics. She has performed on stage in several shows including Seussical and Golden Musical Memories. She also hopes to have the opportunity to someday direct a production. Hannah is currently in rehearsals for FDL Community Theater’s summer production of The Wizard of Oz where she has the lead role of “Dorothy.” She is honored and thrilled to be receiving the FDLCT scholarship award. Hannah is the daughter of Jennifer Holzmann and Terry Davis of Fond du Lac.
