Actor Contract
Failure to follow these guidelines may result in an actor’s dismissal from a production.
- I accept the role assigned to me and will make a 100% commitment to the show.
- There will be a two-week probationary period once rehearsals commence during which a director may replace any cast member or any cast member may resign without prejudice.
The following items are included in the commitment:
- Complete a membership form to become an official member of FDLCT
- Pay $1 membership dues
- Arrive to rehearsals on time
- Attend all rehearsals according to the rehearsal schedule
- Communicate any scheduling conflicts that arise
- Be courteous and respectful to all involved in this production
- Put cell phones and other devices away during rehearsals
- Memorize lines, blocking, as well as choreography and music by the deadline
- Practice at home, not just at rehearsal
- Keep a positive attitude
- Follow the rules of all rehearsal spaces and the theatre
- Assist with cleanup of the building when needed
- Pick up your own garbage and recycle using the designated containers
- Take care of your costumes – some are rented and will need to be returned
- You may be asked to furnish some basic costume pieces – shirts, shoes, etc.
- Assist in the promotion of this show
- Help on theatre move-in day and with the strike of the show
